Accelerating Data Centre Transformation towards a Multi-Cloud vision

Oaklin partnered with a multinational energy company to mature the product function within their Cloud Centre of Excellence. Faced with disjointed delivery and placing heavy pressures on technical teams, Oaklin helped define their cloud strategy, introduced a product-centric delivery model grounded in agile principles. This included defining new processes, tooling, and documentation standards to enable proactive demand management and strategy-led backlog prioritisation. By engaging closely with stakeholders across the organisation, Oaklin established a collaborative model that captured broad customer needs. The new approach accelerated delivery, resulting in the successful launch of two Cloud platforms and multiple new services—laying the foundation for a sustainable Platform-as-a-Product model.

Cloud-Driven Collaboration: Delivering Under Pressure in FinTech

Oaklin was engaged by a global payments leader to accelerate the delivery of a complex digital transformation programme, building a cutting-edge merchant acquiring platform for EMEA clients. Faced with mobilisation delays and an ambitious 8-month timeline, the client appointed Oaklin as the interim programme management team. Within a week, Oaklin defined the SDLC and governance structure, earning praise from both the client and joint-venture stakeholders. A bespoke scaled agile framework was introduced to drive delivery at pace. The programme successfully launched on time, reducing merchant onboarding from two weeks to just 24 hours — exceeding stakeholder expectations.

Data-Driven Prevention: Powering a Digital Health Revolution

Oaklin supported a national health authority to modernise its population health initiative by replacing an outdated technology platform with a scalable, digital solution. Oaklin led delivery by establishing product practices, managing an integration partner, and ensuring secure, efficient clinical workflows. The platform launched on time, enabling streamlined coordination between participants, labs, and healthcare providers. It has since undergone successful site migrations and now operates in a continuous improvement phase, with strong national stakeholder engagement. The programme continues to exceed expectations and has created a foundation for broader digital health innovation across other patient-facing services.

How we help

Cloud Strategy / Product Management

Cloud Product Management focuses on aligning cloud technologies with business goals to deliver value and innovation. It begins with a clear strategic vision for product evolution, followed by identifying gaps in skills, technology, or processes. Targeted solution design tailors the cloud product to business needs, leveraging cloud-native capabilities. Lastly, prioritising demand ensures the most valuable features are delivered according to business priorities.

Product-Led Delivery

Product-Led Delivery (PLD) focuses on delivering cloud services driven by customer needs. It requires continuous delivery of cloud infrastructure, in a highly automated and scalable fashion that responds rapidly to changing demands.

Ensures cross-functional collaboration between development, operations, and product teams, integrating cloud infrastructure delivery seamlessly into the broader product lifecycle.

Change and Service Management

Within Change and Service Management focus is on engaging, upskilling, arming, and supporting the workforce to ensure successful cloud adoption and service delivery. A strategic approach involves clear communication, continuous learning, providing the right tools, and offering strong support systems. These steps help drive accelerated adoption, maintain high service levels, and leverage cloud technologies for long-term growth and innovation.
