Thierno is an Oaklin Management Consultant with over 10 years’ consulting experience gained working for Deloitte and The Hackett Group. Thierno has led multiple large scale transformation programmes for multinational organisations in Western Europe and the Middle East. Thierno’s areas of expertise encompass Finance Transformation, Business Transformation, Shared Services, Cost Reduction, Process and Operations Improvement. Thierno’s functional competencies span across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Procurement, IT, Sales Operations and Customer Services.
His engagements typically start from defining a vision and strategic direction with the organisation’s Executive Leadership to designing and implementing the future operating model in line with the business priorities and agreed strategic direction. Thierno has led multiple process design engagements to identify process efficiency and effectiveness improvements, define process transformation roadmaps, map and document future activities and hand-offs and manage process changes in integration with organisational design and technology architecture. Representative clients include ABB, Computacenter, Credit Suisse, EDF Group, Lafarge, Lloyds Banking Group, Petroleum Development Oman, Rio Tinto, Roche, Thales, Shell and Société Générale.
Thierno holds a Bachelor in Economics from Université de Montreal and a Masters of Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
