A major UK company was looking to transform the way its IT Function operated, as part of a drive to digitise and diversify its business. Oaklin was tasked with developing a Target IT Operating Model. Based on our collaborative method, Oaklin assembled a core design team drawn from IT and business management.
Through a series of structured workshops and interviews, Oaklin established the scope and priorities for change, developed and challenged ideas on how IT could better organise itself, and planned the implementation of the changes needed.
The IT Target Operating Model defined the high-level processes, organisation structures, accountabilities and culture, which was delivered alongside a pragmatic Implementation Plan.
